On the continuous basis, HEI has been coordinating and tracking reliability programs, as well as working on development of life-cycle strategies for distribution equipment, on analyzing O&M costs, and on documenting some of the specific maintenance guidelines.
Client: Exelon Corporation/Commonwealth Edison
Under a subcontract with Patrick Engineering, HEI has been performing distribution system design work on a continuous basis, in Exelon offices and in the field. Work involves overhead and underground distribution circuit relocations due to highway and railroad reconstruction and distribution voltage conversion work.
Client: Ch3M Hill
As a subcontractor to Ch3M Hill, HEI performed a study to determine the most viable alternative for supplying power to the future load located at the planned Pellisier Ranch development in the City of Colton. Conceptual drawings were prepared showing the arrangement of the new substation and the necessary modifications to the City's 66 kV system. A system study using Aspen OneLiner was done to verify that the installed alternative would provide acceptable operating parameters. A budgetary cost estimate and overall schedule was also prepared.
