Dennis Kastsianok, P.E. - Sr. Electrical Engineer/Substation Team Lead
Dennis Kastsianok has over 15 years of experience in the electric utility industry. His expertise includes planning, design and project management for electrical substations and power plant switchyards. His responsibilities combine project leadership, all phases of engineering and construction support, QAQC, coordination with clients, and utility standards. Dennis worked as a lead design engineer on numerous new and existing substation projects - often with compressed schedules and limited project data – at both transmission and distribution voltages, where he created project scope, cost estimate and schedule; performed preliminary and detailed engineering; and coordinated with environmental, operations and maintenance, and construction groups. He also worked on projects which involved evaluating the condition of electric facilities and developing associated reports and recommendations. Dennis is proficient in various major software design tools including CDEGS.
Kris Johnson, P.E. - Sr. Civil/Structural Engineer/Transmission Line Team Lead
Kris Johnson has over 20 years of experience in the construction and electric utility industries. His expertise includes special studies, design, permitting support, specifications, QAQC, third party review, physical security in substations, construction support, utility standards, and coordination with clients. He has been a civil/structural design engineer and project lead on numerous new and rebuilt substations, switchyards, and overhead and underground transmission lines. Kris worked on projects where he performed complex analysis of lattice towers for installation of telecommunication equipment. He works with a variety of structure and foundation types and is proficient in PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, PLS-CADD, PLS-SAPS, STAAD, Visual Analysis, RISA, L-Pile, EnnerCalc and MathCAD.
